Three Lenses on the Same Practice. All Three Interlock.

Audiences, Services and Specialisms are three ways of asking the same question — what we do, where we have depth, and who we work with. Most clients sit at the intersection of all three.

Lens 01

Services (WHAT we do)

Nine UAE accounting and tax services covering compliance, advisory, structuring and ongoing support. The “what” dimension — what work we actually perform on an engagement.

Examples
Lens 02

Specialisms (WHERE we have depth)

Four verticals where our in-house knowledge runs deeper than general practice. The “where” dimension — the sector-specific thinking we bring on top of standard advisory.

Lens 03

Who We Serve (WHO we work with)

Six client audiences organised by cross-border origin and group shape. The “who” dimension — the client’s profile, which decides pricing shape and engagement rhythm.

About the audiences

How Our Audience Model Works.

What’s the difference between ‘Services’, ‘Specialisms’ and ‘Who We Serve’?
Three different lenses on the same practice. Services describe WHAT we do (UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, QFZP, Transfer Pricing, bookkeeping, OHT). Specialisms describe WHERE we have unusual depth (Real Estate, Financial Services & Crypto, Technology, US-Connected). Who We Serve describes WHO we work with (Free Zone & SMEs, UK Expats, UK Groups, Multinationals, Europe, India). Most clients sit at the intersection — e.g. a UK Group (audience) using the Transfer Pricing service with Technology specialism.
What if my situation fits more than one audience?
Common and expected. A UK tech founder running an Indian-origin SaaS business out of Dubai sits across UK Expats, Technology specialism, and India-UAE. Our engagement model handles multi-audience fits in a single engagement letter — same team, same invoice, scope reflects all applicable angles. We’ll flag the overlaps in the discovery call.
Do all six audiences share the same fee structure?
No — the fee shape matches the audience shape. SMEs: fixed-fee monthly packages (from AED 950/month). UK Expats: fixed one-off reviews (from £1,250) + annual packages. UK Groups: setup packages (from £3,500 roadmap, £7,500 setup) + monthly retainer. European Groups: EUR equivalents. Indian Clients: INR + AED dual pricing. Multinationals: project + annual compliance + OHT retainer, usually blended. All fees agreed in writing before any work begins.
Is Shamim UK-qualified or UAE-qualified?
Both. Shamim Bhuiyan FCCA CTA holds the UK’s highest tax qualification (Chartered Tax Adviser, CTA) alongside FCCA Chartered Certified Accountant. The UK sister firm (thetaxlead.co.uk) is regulated by ACCA and registered as an ACSP with Companies House. The UAE arm is UAE Federal Tax Authority registered, IFZA Strategic Partner, with Chartered Tax Adviser-led services. The dual-qualification is why we work equally well for UK, European and Indian audiences in the UAE.
Which audience is your largest?
The audience split varies as the practice grows. By volume, Free Zone & UAE SMEs and UK Expats are our largest audiences. By revenue, UK Groups and Multinationals carry more weight per engagement. India-to-UAE is the fastest-growing. Europe is more selective by nature. Our capacity is spread deliberately across all six so no single audience dominates — each gets senior adviser attention.
How do I know which audience page I should start with?
Use the audience diagnostic further up this page — pick the one closest to your situation. If genuinely unsure, start with a free Discovery Call. 20 minutes is usually enough to work out which audience(s) fit, which service(s) apply, and whether a specialism overlaps. We’ll send a written fixed-fee quote within two business days of the call.
